The gIwankeh foot bath was opened on June 1,
2004 on the lawn with magnolias
adjacent to the front gate.
The name gIwankeh is taken from the Ainu word for
ghealthh and for its health-promoting benefits.
The foot bath is available to the public as
well as overnight guests.
