This building was refurbished in 1990, with all 84 rooms between floors two and seven containing basic amenities. It is available for large tour groups. As in the Nishi-Kan West Wing, all rooms have an ocean view. Thirteen rooms on the seventh floor have a 12 square meter (108 square feet) room with twin-bed bedroom, four twin rooms are corner suites, and the rest have Japanese studio rooms of 16 to 20 square meters (144 to 180 square feet). Floors six and seven have special Japanese- and Western-style rooms as well

Guests in the Honkan take their evening meal in dining area "Manpuku Banya", and breakfast in one of our restaurants. Both meals are Western-Japanese "baikingu" smorgasbord. Some guests will receive our "Okhotsk Kaiseki Zen" box dinners. |

For 3 or more children per room in the "Honkan" Main Building, elementary school children will be charged 70% of the adult rate (includes child-sized portions of adult meals). Pre-school children ages 3 to 5 will be charged 50% of the adult rate (includes a special children's menu). One adult and child in a room will be charged at the 2-adult room rate. |
